Child Safety Standards

your.move is a private messaging and game app for couples, made by DonkeyCat GmbH and intended only for two consenting adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and any sexual content involving anyone under 18. These standards apply to everything in your.move: messages, photos, videos, voice notes, doodles, wishes, custom cards and profiles.

Age restriction

• your.move is only for people aged 18 and over. This is stated in our Terms of Service and in both store listings, and the app's 18+ corner (Get Kinky) is marked 18+ only and opens only when both partners say yes.
• On Google Play and the App Store the app carries an adult age rating, so store age settings and parental controls can keep it away from minors.
• Accounts believed to belong to minors are terminated immediately on discovery.

Prohibited content and conduct

CSAE is strictly prohibited in your.move. All of the following result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement:

• Any sexual content involving anyone under 18, real or simulated, including CSAM and AI-generated child imagery.
• Grooming, sexual solicitation, sexual extortion or romantic interaction with minors.
• Sharing CSAM through any means, including links to external content.
• Any use of your.move to exploit, traffic or endanger a child.
• Coercive or non-consensual sexual conduct.

End-to-end encryption and our limits

Messages, wishlist text, and the photos, videos and voice notes sent after linking are end-to-end encrypted between the two partners. We cannot read or scan that content on our servers. This is by design, for privacy. Some things fall outside that guarantee: custom card text, doodles (from version 1.12), profiles, moods, Get Kinky habits and check-ins, and Kink Compass answers are stored as plain text, which we can read and scan, and the treat attached to an invite uses a weaker, code-based key that we could technically decrypt if we needed to review it. For content we truly cannot access, we depend on what users report to us and on the account information we hold.

How we detect and respond

• Reports in the app: in your.move, Settings → Help & support → Report a concern (or Message us) opens a private chat with our team without leaving the app. Because messages and media are end-to-end encrypted, we see only what the person reporting tells us in that chat. Along with the report, the chat sends the phone's install identifier and the app's recent diagnostic log, never the couple's messages or photos. Reports are reviewed within 48 hours.
• Account information: message content stays encrypted, but when we look into a report we also check the account information we do hold, such as when the account was made, when and how often it linked with a partner, and the plain-text content listed above.
• Account action: confirmed violations result in an immediate, permanent ban of the account, and of the paired partner if relevant, and deletion of associated server-side records consistent with applicable preservation duties.
• Law enforcement reporting: confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and to the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) in Germany, in accordance with applicable law. We preserve relevant metadata and account information for law enforcement requests.

Reporting child safety concerns

If you believe a child is being harmed, is in danger, or is the subject of CSAM:

• If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
• To report content or behaviour in your.move: open the app, tap the gear at the top of the chat to open Settings, then tap Help & support → Report a concern or Message us. That opens a private chat with our team inside the app. You can also email yourmove@donkeycat.com from any address.
• To report CSAM directly to authorities: NCMEC CyberTipline (US, worldwide), BKA online portal (Germany), or your national equivalent.
